"and it always breaks right when I want to play"
faceit has been super frustrating lately. I’ll be ready to hop into a match and then the page won’t load, the game freezes, or I can’t reconnect at all. It’s annoying because I’m just trying to play a few games, but it feels like every update somehow makes something else stop working.

"I joined a couple of faceit cups..."
I joined a couple of faceit cups they were run well. The brackets were easy to follow, and most of the matches started on time, which was nice because I always worry a bit about things getting confusing or delayed. Overall it felt organized and smooth, so I’d feel comfortable joining more.

I was under the impression the game linking would be reliable, but that hasn’t really been my experience. CS2 sync does work here and there, but sometimes it just fails for no clear reason. it feels a bit misleading when it’s presented like it should just work smoothly

"Navigation is just as annoying as I expected"
I’d heard the navigation was kind of a mess, using it pretty much confirmed that for me. I kept struggling to find basic stuff, the menus felt all over the place, and every time I got lost it just reinforced my feeling that it’s not very well organized.

The verification process was kind of hit or miss for me. I had to retry it twice, which was a bit annoying, but it did eventually go through and work fine after that

I’ve dealt with plenty of sites where I blame them for making billing and cancellations feel like a scavenger hunt, but this one was actually straightforward. The billing info was easy to find, the cancellation steps were clear, and there weren’t any weird hidden fees or confusing pages. It took me about 2 minutes, so I was happy with the whole thing

"Prize payout was a headache"
I won a prize and the payout took way longer than it should have, I kept checking in with support and they basically gave me the same kind of answers every time without anything really moving forward, so at this point I don’t feel like I can trust Faceit prizes much anymore because the whole thing just felt messy and frustrating...

"Really handy for hubs and leagues"
I mainly use Faceit for running hubs and leagues, it’s been solid overall. Setting up matches, checking teams, and keeping track of results is straightforward once you get the hang of it.
The admin side can be a little clunky here and there, and notifications could definitely be clearer, but it still gets the job done well. If they fixed the smaller issues a bit faster, I’d easily give it 5 stars.

"Dealing with a refund was exhausting"
I had another frustrating experience trying to get a refund from Faceit, and I’m tired of running into the same kind of issue again. Support took forever to get back to me, and when they did, it was mostly generic replies that didn’t really help. It felt like they were more interested in closing the ticket than actually sorting it out. After going back and forth, I just gave up. Definitely not paying for premium again

"Matchmaking feels really uneven"
I like the idea of Faceit, and there are times when it’s fun, but... the matchmaking just feels off most of the time. My team often ends up with lower level players, while the other side has stronger stacks or what seem like smurfs. It makes matches feel kind of random and frustrating. It’s not totally bad, but... it definitely needs some fixing.

"Pretty smooth most nights"
I’ve been playing on Faceit for a while now, usually late at night with coffee on my desk and my cat trying to sit on the mousepad. Overall the servers have been solid for me. Every now and then I’ll get a random little lag spike or some weird routing issue, but most matches feel smooth enough that I don’t really think about it. Definitely feels better than regular matchmaking in my experience

"I signed up for Premium a few weeks..."
I signed up for Premium a few weeks ago since I’ve been playing regularly, and so far it’s been worth it for me. The queues have felt better overall, I like having the missions to work toward, and the stats are actually handy to check after matches. It’s not perfect every single game, but for the price, I’ve been happy with it.

"Works okay, but the privacy info feels a bit slippery"
Faceit is fine for actually playing matches, no major complaints there. But when it comes to privacy and data settings, it felt way more confusing than it needed to be. I had to dig through a bunch of menus just to figure out what they’re saving or sharing. Nothing bad happened to me, but I always get a little suspicious when a site uses clean, polished wording instead of just saying things plainly. Would be better if they explained it in normal language.

"Better matches, but the community can be rough"
Faceit is decent overall, and the matches are usually better than regular matchmaking. But the toxic players make it frustrating way too often. Every few games there’s someone flaming, trolling, or giving up after like 3 rounds… which just kills the whole vibe. Reporting people doesn’t really feel like it changes much either. I still hop on sometimes, but the community makes it hard to actually enjoy it…

"Desktop app is okay, but I’m not totally convinced"
The desktop client is easy to use overall, and most of the time it works fine. It does lag here and there though, which makes me wonder what’s going on in the background. Nothing major so far, but I’m keeping an eye on it

I’ve played a few matches and, i still feel like I ran into some obvious cheaters. Faceit does seem better than regular matchmaking overall, maybe, but the anti-cheat still doesn’t feel like it’s doing quite enough yet.

"I wish the ban reason was clearer"
I got banned and I’m still not sure what rule I broke. It would really help to have a clearer explanation, even just so I know what happened and can feel reassured that it wasn’t a mistake or something I’ll accidentally do again.
